Other scholarships
In order to attract a larger public to the TEMA European Master Course, the Consortium supports some students who can not receive an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. There are several options for these students:
- In the context of the mandatory mobility, European students who can not benefit from an Erasmus Mundus scholarship can apply for an Erasmus scholarship. Each partner has signed and regularly updates bilateral agreements with the other partners.
- The French government offers scholarships to foreign students who wish to undertake their studies on Master’s and PhD levels in France.
- Every year the Hungarian government grants scholarships to foreign students through the Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture that participates in the TEMA European Master Course as an associated member, and through the Hungarian Scholarship Board Office.
- The Italian government also offers scholarships with various duration to foreign students on the basis of academic excellence.
- Students of Charles University in Prague can apply for financial support for their mobility period through private foundations, such as Sasakawa, Hlávka, Sophia or Jan Hus.
- Other cooperational programs, foundations and organizations also offer scholarships to foreign students, often designating specific target groups: for instance, the Alban Program for the students of South America, the Eiffel Excellence Program of the French Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs, the Visegrad Fund, etc.
